For the 2022 model year, the rugged and impressive Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban are getting more technology and more power. These popular SUVs will come with more standard safety features, improvements to infotainment technology, and more mechanical options.
The 6.2-liter V8 option has been a popular powertrain option on both the Tahoe and Suburban. In 2022, this option will be available on three more trims, the RST, Z71, and Premier. It comes standard on the High Country trim. This engine delivers 420 horsepower and comes with a dual exhaust and Dynamic Fuel Management that helps optimize efficiency.
Improving visibility for the Tahoe and Suburban, both SUVs will be available with up to 13 unique camera views. These views will be helpful while hitching up a trailer, navigating through narrow spaces, or even while driving. You can use the available transparent trailer view that lets you “see through” your trailer if there is another vehicle coming up from behind.
Another updated technology feature is a large 12.3-inch configurable digital instrument cluster. This comes standard on the LT trims and above on both the Tahoe and Suburban. You can choose from four layouts and customize what information you would like to see.
For additional security, these SUVs now come standard with Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and Front and Rear Park Assist.
